I have a one Q… I really love your sub’s on the track’s i have try cople of times to make something interesting with Sine wave pitched down 2 octaves but sound to boomy? and don’t like to work with the kick like freq overlap or something.I have try to do a sidechain and eq around 40-60 Hz and cut little on 100Hz to remove the boom but i loose it than.

Hi Darko,

Because we never use the same sounds, for us it's always some sort of struggle to get things right.
It's often a question of using your head, next to your ears. It's very important to give every sound it's own space in it's dominant frequencies. We use the standard tools for doing that. In some cases it's best to EQ the h*ll out of things, in others tight (sidechain) compression does the job. And you always have to take a close look at the panoramic of your sounds/mix and compare your material with tracks you love.

For the logic users I found this http://chocolatepuma.com/872/studio-tips-separating-two-sounds-with-logi...
But I have the (same) problem that when is side-chain my kick to the bass, my bass drops fully away.
Then I try to use eq on the bass and my kicks power is gone.
Im btw a Cubase 5 user.
