Incredible!! The winning song "Now or Never by Barany Attila & No! End" is a Bootleg copies of existing songs, "No! End - In Love With (Club CUE) (Club Mix)" which was placed on Youtube 03/07/2010.
I want to listen to both songs:
The winning song:

Existing early songs:

Request an urgent manifestation team Funkerman about this!
I can not believe that plagiarism is a winner!
Do you think this is ok and fair? I think not!

I was first suspected in any number of views on youtube
in the first week of voting had about 1200
day before the end of voting, there were about 3000, at the end of voting 4000 views. One day 1000?
I think it was not exactly clear ... there are programs that allow tamping viewing on YouTube (using proxy etc. ..) so that it could be a massive vote ..
Especially now when there is still evidence of this ...
Hear what has to say Funkerman
Another proof:

This song was made much earlier ... Shame ... See the date ....
The song originally was set at Zippyshare 14.2.2010. !!!

Later the song was just used and from it created "Now or Never".

Mmmmh its true, Atilla & No End fucked this contest!
I would like to hear funkerman and crews tougheds about this...
Youtube numbers are indeed, a little to high, probably proxy use yes..
@ Iskren
I understand your pissed ending on second place, i would be to
However its no use trying to find a fault so you can take first place!
If funkerman and his team decides to disqualify attila & no end , they should pick there personal winning track out of the other nine
and why are you talking about proxy, unless you know
what it does and how it works..maybe you used it yourself but not enough..
someone disagree iskren is a fag?
@ Iskren
and why are you talking about proxy, unless you know
what it does and how it works..maybe you used it yourself but not enough..
I not understand? I not write in my post I do not know anything about it. I not believe that it is possible.
someone disagree iskren is a fag?
This is an insult? No, I'm not gay. :) I use Googletranslate because I do not know enough English. Translation is not always correct.
This is disturbing yes, but the question is if Funkerman and his crew will turn the other cheek and let it slip or take action.
ProductionNine, don't throw shit at DJ Iskren if you're someone's else fanboy or contest hater simply because you haven't been noticed.
Sooner or later someone would've found out what Atilla and No End did, and frankly, why does it bother you? I'm pretty convinced you'd have moaned if you ended up very close to the first place and lost to some bootleg.
Name me only 1 good reason why the winning song shouldn't be banned from this contest and I'll name you 3 very good why it should if it isn't so obvious to you.
Also, I understand it hasn't been noticed sooner especially by Funkerman and his crew because they had lots of songs to listen to and who the hell would spare the time to do all that + do a research on every single artist that participated here. That doesn't mean this shouldn't be ignored.
This is really a shame right. like a famous win a contest that he was using elements already published poems, although as a rule expressly prohibited. Funkerman concerned should immediately disqualify
i think the rules were that you can't use samples that are someone elses...
this song was already their own song - so they had the rights to the song.
i don't think this was really published/released by anyone...which is why its a BOOTLEG...no?
if that is the case, then i don't think that its too much of a big deal...
Was it LAZY? Yes...was it illegal? I don't think so...
Can't see what youtube views have to do with winning, i just voted here on the site.. That's how these guys win, right?
It's a strong point tough, Attila & No!end remix does sound a lot like older No!end tracks.
Strings and Synth seem to come from No!end's 'In Love With' track. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S8rEJMTRJuw
But the rythm section is not from that track, it sounds a lot like this: Compact Disco - I'm in Love (no!end remix) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S8rEJMTRJuw
The second one got signed, but i'm not sure about the first one, think that really is a bootleg. And it's not a full copy of one track, they just used elements from more tracks and made it sound right. Don't know if that's illegal, i've heard more artists doing that in the past. (It kinda sounded like Funkadelic did it too in this contest)
Legal or not, it's not something to be proud of. (Lazy is a good term yeah) In my opinion, these guys shouldn't win.
The crowd decided they should win, but in that context the producers with the biggest crowd behind them are always winners.
so @productionNine: I agree with you, think the best would be if Funkerman/crew picked a winner. (I think there could be more, 4 tracks on an EP is a nice number and that way there are more listeners who get something they like). Oh and i do not agree Iskren is a fag, he's probably alright. But i do see hints of a little 'campaign' he's organizing to win, but that's just from what i'm seeing, doesn't make it true.
I wonder how many remixes were sent that aren't a copy of some other production... come on guys, we sure as hell can be more original, just try harder :)
Real Flamingo!

Alright, great you are taking some action :)
Kinda shocked by this.. I've just been looking up all the artist that made it to the top 10 just to see what they usually make. You've heard Barany Attila & No!End, here are the others..
This is Dj Iskren: http://www.youtube.com/user/DJIskren
Now i posted something about his remix before. http://funkerman.com/forum/who-will-win-do-you-think and i started listening to his other tracks. It only got worse. I really do not think this is something for Funkerman's label. Sounds more like music for Eurovision Song Festival...
I kinda get the same feeling listening to Lee Elliott:
http://soundcloud.com/houseofelliott
Casimir was a nice production, but thanks to LocalDJ we know now that is was a 'copy' of Dj Tiesto's 'Escape Me' (Aviici;s Remix). Like his other production on his myspace tough, but it also sounds familliar: http://www.myspace.com/adamcasimir
Tamerlan & Djons was a solid House track. At first i was not sure if the piano in the break fit right, thought it was just an original production with the now or never vocals wacked over it later. but it worked, and the remix grew on me. They Also have more nice material on their Myspace: http://www.myspace.com/tamerlandjons and numerous of releases on beatport.
Didn't hear the name Rutger van Gelder much in the voting rounds.. Was a nice piano break in there. His artist name used to be ZenDuca: http://www.zenduca.com/ He's got some nice remixes on there but i don't think his version of Now Or Never had much chance.
It was a pleasure to hear Funkadelic's version, great energy but i really really resembled to his remix of the other remix contest, Automatic. Compare:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lol5AxlxTEc
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DlRSEaWht6Y
So not really original unfortunately...
He does have some other wicked wicked stuff tough, like his Topazz remix that's about to surface:http://soundcloud.com/funkadelic
Deep 'N Lazy is still one of my personal faves, very nice laidback production. And they have some more stuff that's worth listening, 'That man' for instance..http://soundcloud.com/deep-n-lazy
Was surprised to hear Midibyte's style in this competition, be he's a pro for sure. 'People Don't Dance No More' is a good example of what this guy can do:http://soundcloud.com/midibyte electronic goodness all the way!
The underdog definitely was Matthew Royal. Think his mix was very solid, guess the house crowd just isn't that much into dubstep. If you are into the whole dubstep thing tough: http://soundcloud.com/garthroyal
After this little study and judging by originality, consistency and phatness, i can only come up with these three as potential winners. (if Funkerman decides not to give the prize to Attila & No!End):
Tamerlan & Djons
Midibyte
Deep 'N Lazy
Did i just type all that text? i'm such a geek...
Alright, great you are taking some action :)

I do not understand why you are trying to belittle my work and now and earlier? I do not understand why are you doing, what benefit you got from that?
I'm not anywhere disparage the work of other participants, so I do not want to disparage my work!
I just pointed to the irregularity of the winners! And that's all!
@Rio - I'm hanging around on pretty much the same native forums as DJ Iskren, there's been no campaign whatsoever to help him have a distinct advantage. He merely "advertised" his track that was uploaded to YouTube and the Funkerman site itself should people decide to vote, nothing more, nothing less. :P I'm quite convinced everyone has done so. The same thing goes for this topic, he created the same one on native forums, not begging for support and such. Truth to be told, he would be a winner if someone managed to find out earlier about the truth behind Atilla's & No End's work and in majority's eyes he remains a winner even if the the crew hosting this contest decides otherwise should they consider Atilla/No End's remix violating their rules. All that is needed right now is to act accordingly against this violation and have them pick another winner either by re-casting votes or choosing themselves.
@Tech - I think you're being too suggestive here. At first I thought you were going to describe resemblances of various Top10 songs here and notice if someone has violated the rules but what you're doing is pushing your opinion. You've had your chances to express yourself, you were able to vote, now let the hosters decide without the influence of others. Keep in mind I do agree with a nice deal of your post, I just don't think this topic is for it.
Alright maybe that was a bit too much opinion ;) let's just wait for the Funkerman and crew to come up with an aswer then..
Alright, great you are taking some action :)

I happend to vote for the contest a couple of weeks ago, toughed lets see whats goin on over here.
Seeing this topic makes me sad:(
why cant artist be more original with there productions, i agree on your top 3 , Midibyte, Tamerlan & Djons & Deep 'N Lazy
i also agree on some one else saying to create an ep, pick 4 tracks from top 10 and you will get even more attention for your label.
however i dont see funkerman making 4 remixes:P ,
one thing is for sure, nobody wants to see atilla and no End win this contest lol, there's a hate thats growing and growing...
i'm starting to disslike the track more and more, knowing it was already made. it will be bad for flamingo releasing this tune in my opinion.
it will be a hard decision for the crew just to disqualify the guys, i think they will indeed just turn there heads and release it anyways
cant realy worry about it:P didnt even participate in contest
GoodLuck Funkerman!
lenni
Hi everybody,
this is a good theme... At first I am sorry for it and I understand that organizer of the contest cannot know all songs around the world. I was very happy to be in the contest, I was happy that somebody (The Funkerman) gives us the chance to work together with professionals. That´s the reason why I am sad now because copy of other songs cannot be in the contest at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am not sure if the winner did the copy, maybe he used to work with the same sample bank!
!!!!But this is not first case in this contest. Check another remix by Casimir!!!!! Casimir made a copy, REAL COPY of the track by Tiesto - Escape Me (Aviciis Remix At Night), he also wrote me in forum that he likes this melody so much so he did the remix similar... Where we are? :(
Original Track
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EPOHihpSqps
Casimir copy
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v8ddf87vrFw
SO THE CASIMIR STOLE ONE PLACE IN THE CONTEST IN TOP 10!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And I am bored of all of it, because organizer maybe will be bothered so much that he is not going to make another Contest for honest producers!
I think that there are to much similar melodies in the dance music so I think we can be forgiving in some cases. I hope that we all will hear explication from ORGANIZER not only about winner but also about Casimir remix...
Sorry for this, really...
LocalDJ
Thank you very much for the support my friend Tech1ive ! And thx for HouseofHouse ;)

Hallo everyone.
we promissed to get back on the issue concerning the "Now or Never" track by Barany Attila & No! End.
We want to point out that competitors can only by disqualified based on violating the rules.
The "Now or Never" track by Barany Attila & No!End shows similarities with "No!End - In Love With". However, the track "In Love With" has not been signed or released. Therefore the copyrights of the samples are still owned by No!end, and can be used for other productions. So no rules have been violated, and therefore the submittion is "legal".
Funkerman and his team nominated the track by "Barany Attila & No! End" with the 9 other contestants, and after that it received the most public votes. The youtube views do not matter, they have nothing to do with the public vote, nor the selection process of the 10 finalists by Funkerman and his team.
The winner remains "Barany Attila & No! End".
Then good luck with having the same or larger pool of producers that would be willing to participate in future contests of yours, when bootlegs are better rewarded than an effort to create something unique.
Was surprised to hear Midibyte's style in this competition, be he's a pro for sure. 'People Don't Dance No More' is a good example of what this guy can do:http://soundcloud.com/midibyte electronic goodness all the way!
Thanks for that comment Tech1ive, but the reality is i'm not a professional producer, at all. I turned 19 a few months ago, my room is my studio, i've been doing it for about 5 years now, electro nearly 2 now. Aiming for a professional career yes, but at the moment, i'm nothing but a broke-ass highschool student. Doing my thing, irritating 25 yo's in the business. :-)
This is, therefore, the final decision of the Team Funkerman? Ok...
I will say for the end of its several opinions:
I have been reconciled to the loss of first place in the contest. And before I noticed that the song Bootleg copies (the song still is, after all....). Much evidence has been in previous posts!
After the announcement of the results, "I said to myself:" Ok, I just lost, dropped to second place, and making a truce with the loss ... " I congratulate the winner. I was glad that I participated ...
Then I accidentally discovered that the winning song, in fact, copies of existing songs by the winner playing in his DJ sets. The song was made "No!End" much earlier before the publication of this contest. (Very transparent) (Not to mention that the mp3 "Now or Never" was set to share sites before end of the contest!.)
I `m long time in music production and DJ-ing, to my ear could not miss the incredible similarity. I compared the two songs. At first hearing, immediately conclude that the winning song derived from existing ones. With this agrees the majority of participants in this debate.
It is impossible to so many identical similarities. So, we took the existing track and easily revised in the "Now or Never". I have long analyzed...
Then I was already very angry! So, I've stayed in second place due to "Copy / paste" song? I spent hours and hours of work to create a unique version of "Now or Never". At the end of the victory song that was derived from the already popular hit, and its famous sound of "No! End - In Love With" voters said that the automatic vote for that version, because it is all but "in the ear" released countless times on Atilla DJ sets. ... Very, very cleverly designed!
I never had intended to demolish the winner of the first places that I get a prize. No. I just wanted to point out the obvious defects.
It is very strange that the Team Funkerman forgot some basic rules that were set at the start of contest. I quote one:
„.... Using 'uncleared' samples will be disqualified. An 'uncleared sample' is a musical work, loop or sample that you do not own the copyright for (ie: you didn't create it). You are free to use sounds that were created by you.......“
And:
„.... We will carefully listen to the works and already used to identify sample, and these works will be disqualified .....“
It is strange that these rules are easily removed from the site Contest ... Why?
It is also strange that not released the number of votes, if not of all 10 nominations, then at least the top three ... Only after insistence, were published in the first three places and without number of votes!
All this leads to doubts. Especially after the situation with the winning song.
Finally, it states that the winning song will not infringe any of the rules ... Which?
I was happy when I signed up to this Contest. I was happy when I made the song "Now or Never". I worked hard nights. Victory I was not in the foreground. I wanted to do something different and original without copying others. I wanted to take part in the creation of songs with great names like Funkerman and Shermanology.
In the end I was very disappointed. Not because I won, but because the victory carries plagiarism. I am sorry my time and time other participants who have tried to make something original. It was really great works!
I believe that this event leave a large dark stain on a whole team Funkerman and Flamingo. After much obvious evidence of copying the song, it stays winning ... Pretty incredible. (To add to all that the "Rewards for voters" not mentioned anywhere?)
Flamingo will be allowed to be placed on the CD already existing song that plays in clubs months before? The song literally "no end" (going to fade out) and the vocal starts at 2 / 3 of the whole song? Now simply called: "Now or Never" ... Sadly ...
The winner is not even appeared here on the Forum ...
I will not participate in the upcoming contest, as well as the most disappointed here ...The reasons are obvious.
After all, I want the team Funkerman luck in further work.
Best regards,
DJ Iskren
I agree. This is really a shame. the winner is disqualified even though he broke the rules set. This will be a big black spot on the team Funkerman if the winner fails to disqualify. he violated the rules and should be disqualified
Regrettably everything was wrong in this contest... Sorry for it... But nobody from ORGANIZER asked my question about COPY of CASIMIR song! I will talk about it again and again... Casimir stole one place in top 10... It was the first mistake in the contest.
I only expect some apologize. I think ORAGNIZER underestimated the contest. Maybe they didn´t have enough time to chceck all remixes. There was no time to inform producers about some time changes soon... I think that something went wrong for all producesrs and organizers too... that´s pity.
So let it be...
Go on production!
LocalDJ
i'm surprised, thought there would be a little more measures for this.. But alright, the winners didn't break any of the rules, i agree on that. As quoted before, the winner was lazy tough and that's the only thing that dissapoints me. Now i'm just very curious about the Funkerman remix of this, we'll find out..
Too all other people who took part in this, heads up. Some of you were great and i will play your tunes if they get out somewhere. Hope some of you have generated a positive response to your work, perhaps your music will come out elsewhere? let me know!
Hope there's a lesson learned here about originality.. Keep making those beats guys :)
Real Flamingo!
That's that. I've been watching this topic for a while and i get it. But just maaaybe we shouldn't be too worried about who's winning. At least i know i'm not.
I mean, those dudes get some nice gear and that's it. I know i don't want music from people who make it because they want some fancy-ass audio gear. I like people who make music just because they want to make music.
And if you want to get your name out by being on an EP, there are one hundred more ways to get your name out. If you got real skills as a musician, put yout stuff out there and you will get noticed. U don't need to stick to one contest ;) Take a look at F-man; he put together his own freaking label.
Competition was fun to watch anyway, learned some great new names. Just hoping the crew is able to put more time in it the next time around..
This is it. Now when contest is finished, I will finally finish my version :p. I am following this topic from start. Now, it is not fair that it has happend as it is. By other way I belive that noone will know every song.
I really do like production from DJ Iskren, so as I liked one other production, but there was missing a original parts of it. On the end of all of this is, many internet runners will see topics like this and that is bad for Funkerman itself, even if he was not the only one in team.
Peace,
DD

It's a shame everyone has to accuse each other from being non-original or even cheating. If something isn't published then you can use it. It's an OWN production contest. So who cares? Even if he made track 20 years ago it's his right to send this copy in for the remixcontest. Fairly I think you are a bit of a loser if you accuse someone of such thing because you lost.
Someone also said he was worried because he thought Funkerman and his crew didnt listen to all songs. I think thats rather unfair. He organised this big contest and he did it well with good vocals and professional attitude. His crew worked hard for this contest and you see it due everything they do! There is nothing worse then being a bad loser.
Hello all producers & other interested people,
I feel I have to respond to this topic myself even though all the things that were submitted by my crew have been discussed with me.
When we started with the Automatic contest I have made it very clear what my objective was with doing these contests. I like people to have an extra thing to talk about and make each other better. On this forum we even started our Q&A topic on which we are pretty active ourselves and try to answer all questions when we have the time and the answer. When we started the now or never contest I felt we could even take it one step further.
When we hold a contest we try to state rules which are fair, give everyone the same chance and make it possible for us to release the track afterwards. This is a contest with a real winner, so the winner will have a release in the real world and when there are illegal samples involved we cannot. The situation that occurred here will happen more often then you think. It's a very common thing to make a track, which is not good enough to release but later on you realise that you can use the good stuff from it to make something else better. As long as the parts you use are yourselves it's allowed by international law.
I'm very sorry for the people that didn't make it into the nominees and feel very much for the people that didn't win. Believe me, I lost so many times before a few of my tracks were picked up. I think that dealing with setbacks is unavoidable.
I am going to think hard if I will ever host a new contest again, because for me it's not about winning or losing. We are not in sports!!!!!!!!!
Music can erase boundaries and cultural differences & bring people together. For me that was the reason for doing this, but I realise that for a contest you need a winner, but unavoidably have people who feel they have lost. I'm very sorry for that.
Best regards & keep the vibe alive,
Fman
