Hello all
I am a Cubase 5 user and I use atm only the standard Cubase 5 fx plugins (compressor, limiter, reverb and so on)
What are you're opinions about the Cubase 5 plugins?

Hi Relph D,
I luv most of the standard Qbase 5 plugs. Especially the (sidechain) Compressor, Limiter, Ringmodulator, Ampsimulator, MonotoStereo, StereoEnhancer and Delay (Mono/Stereo/Pingpong) we use a lot. We don't use the (REVerence) Reverb anymore though. We experienced a few times problems with this one (-> errors with loading when opening the project).

Okey, ik doe het ff in het nederlands want volgens mij zit er niemand meer op hier.
Side-chain compressie doe ik volgens mij verkeerd.
Wat ik doe bijvoorbeeld is, ik zet een compressor op m'n subbass channel, actieveer de knop side-chain en dan ga ik naar de kick send channel en wijs hem toe en zet hem op 100.
Ratio op 8.00, release op 25 ongeveer, attack op 0,1, analysis op 0, threshold wat om laag en de soft knee zet ik uit.
Alsnog hoor ik nu de subbass er bijna niet uitkomen, want die wil goed kunnen voelen. Ik zet de threshold wat hoger en nu valt m'n kick redelijk weg.
Wat doe ik verkeerd?
Ik wil bijvoorbeeld het effect kunnen creeeren zoals je dat bij de plaat van Phonic Funk - KTDNG hoort.
